Welcome to the Humblhive: Jocelyn Verdenal

At Humbl, we believe cycling is about more than just speed or technology; it’s about people, stories, and the spirit of the mountains. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to introduce our first supported athlete: Jocelyn Verdenal.

Jocelyn isn’t just one of the strongest amateur cyclists in the Swiss Alps — he’s also someone who embodies what Humbl stands for: passion, humility, and a love for adventure. When we first met, he was riding an 8-year-old road bike with rim brakes, proving that heart and determination matter far more than shiny new gear. Jocelyn is the kind of athlete who will always raise a glass with fellow riders after a big day out — exactly the kind of down-to-earth character we want to champion.

Our paths first crossed planning a project this spring: cycling from the Mediterranean Sea all the way to the highest hut in the Alps, combining bike and skis in a true test of endurance and creativity. Sadly, the weather wasn’t on our side — but this is just the beginning.

Jocelyn’s list of achievements speaks for itself. In June 2025, he smashed the course record from Bern to Zermatt at Chasing Cancellara, and he claimed victory at the Tour des Stations in 2024. With many more races and adventures ahead, we’re excited to be along for the ride.

He will now be racing on Humbl bikes, providing feedback, sharing his journey, and helping us tell the story of what it means to ride born in the Alps — and stay grounded.

Originally from France, Jocelyn has made Zermatt his home, spending his days among the peaks and passes that inspire everything we do at Humbl.

Willkommen in der Humblhive: Jocelyn Verdenal

Bei Humbl glauben wir, dass Velofahren mehr ist als nur Geschwindigkeit oder Technik. Es geht um Menschen, Geschichten und den Spirit der Berge. Darum sind wir unglaublich stolz, unseren ersten unterstützten Athleten vorzustellen: Jocelyn Verdenal.

Jocelyn ist nicht nur einer der stärksten Amateurfahrer in den Schweizer Alpen – er verkörpert auch alles, wofür Humbl steht: Leidenschaft, Bescheidenheit und Abenteuerlust. Als wir uns das erste Mal trafen, sass er auf einem 8-jährigen Rennvelo mit Felgenbremsen – ein klares Zeichen, dass Herzblut und Willen mehr zählen als glänzendes Material. Jocelyn ist der Typ Sportler, der nach einem harten Tag auf dem Velo immer noch ein Bier mit den anderen trinken geht – genau so jemanden wollen wir bei Humbl an unserer Seite.

Unsere Wege kreuzten sich erstmals bei einem geplanten Projekt in diesem Frühling: Von Genua bis zur höchstgelegenen Hütte der Alpen, mit Velo und Ski – ein echtes Abenteuer. Leider machte uns das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Aber das ist erst der Anfang.

Jocelyns Erfolge sprechen für sich: Im Juni 2025 stellte er beim Chasing Cancellara den neuen Streckenrekord von Bern nach Zermatt auf, und bereits 2024 gewann er die Tour des Stations. Viele weitere Rennen und Projekte warten schon.

Ab sofort wird Jocelyn auf Humbl-Bikes unterwegs sein, uns Feedback geben, unsere Geschichte mittragen – und wir dürfen seine teilen.

Jocelyn stammt ursprünglich aus Frankreich, lebt aber in Zermatt, wo er die meiste Zeit in den Bergen verbringt – genau dort, wo unsere Marke zu Hause ist.
